Belonging

Indeed to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return.

• We belong to Allah.
• We belong to the place He created.
• We belong to all humanity, created with vast diversity.
• No one has superiority over another in all of humanity, except in piety and in good deeds.

Our beginning and end is with Allah; the One Who created us and sustains us will receive us back when our days are done and breath is gone. Intentions, good deeds, and taqwa will help us return to Allah in a good state.

For our current human condition, the earth is our dwelling place and we are stewards of the earth while we are here, born into families, living in communities; we each have many blessings and responsibilities in the place we belong, all the while, focused on the final destination, longing to belong to Allah.
