delivering the Alberta Program of Studies
from the Qur’anic worldview
We strive to integrate Islamic concepts and Qur’anic content
throughout the curriculum.
Historically Rooted
Finding our meaningful place in time provides roots and connections. We want each child to identify with her or his own historical roots, find role models in Islamic history, and explore Islamic civilization and tradition.
Nature Focused
The Qur’an reminds us to reflect on the “signs” of the natural world. We bring nature-focus to our learning wherever possible, to increase each child’s connection to the cosmos and to nurture wonder in creation.
Service Oriented
Service to others and experiences in stewardship are fundamental to becoming a compassionate human being with a conscious heart. We encourage good deeds and intentionally seek opportunities for service.

Why learn with a Qur’anic lens?
Think about the difference:
When the doctor sends you for a blood test, you may need to fast for 12 hours.
How is that fasting for a doctor different from the fasting we do for Allah Subhananhu wa Ta`ala?
