Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health and Iman.

•  Learned about Shahadah, the testimony of faith, and its importance.

Grades 1, 2 & 3

•  Discussed the importance of patience and gratitude, focused on saying "Alhamdulillah" in all circumstances.

Grades 4, 5 & 6

•  Learned a new dua: أعوذُ بكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامِّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ, its meaning, and reasons for reciting it.
•  Introduced Imam Muslim, his early life, his contributions to Hadith collection, the concept of sanad (chain of narration), and the significance of Sahih Muslim.

Reflection and How Families Can Support at Home

•  Please ask about the stories and lessons learned during Sakinah time.
•  Encourage children to recite the new dua and reflect on its meaning.
•  Talk about the significance of the names of Allah in daily life.
•  Read stories about the lives of great scholars like Imam Muslim to inspire a love for Islamic knowledge.

Thank you for your support in your child’s education.  If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s progress, please feel free to contact us at sakinahtime24@gmail.com.

Wasallam,
